James Collins’ side will finish their Premier League 2 Division 2 campaign second in the league standings – regardless of the result in East Anglia – after a phenomenal second half of the season, which has seen the side lose just once in the competition.
Wolves ensured they would have home advantage in the play-offs with a 2-2 draw at home to Stoke City on Monday night. Having found themselves behind, the under-23s fought back well in the last 20 minutes, with Joe Hodge and Chem Campbell finding the back of the net to earn the point they needed to guarantee a second-place finish.
The only team who could have stopped Wolves from securing second on Monday evening was Norwich, but the Canaries fell to a 3-2 loss to West Bromwich Albion at New Bucks Head.
That result left Norwich clinging on to the final play-off spot, with Alan Neilson’s side needing to better Burnley’s outcome in their game with league champions Fulham if they are to guarantee their place in the play-off semi-finals.
After pushing Fulham closely in the first half of the campaign, Norwich have seen their form dip up and down since the turn of the year, with defeats against Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Birmingham City mixed with victories over Stoke, Middlesbrough and Fulham.
The hosts will also be buoyed by the previous meeting between the two sides which saw the Canaries hammer Wolves 5-0 at Aggborough.
As well as the action at Carrow Road, attention will also be paid to third place Stoke’s clash with West Brom and Nottingham Forest’s visit to Birmingham City, all kicking off at the same time of 7pm, which will have a big impact on the final play-off ordering.

WHAT THE BOSS THINKS
With both Premier League Cup and PL2 play-off semi-finals to come at Molineux in the coming weeks, head coach James Collins admits he is likely to rotate his side for the visit to Carrow Road.
“I think we will, a little bit,” Collins said. “We’ve got two games in a week and a semi-final next midweek, and we don’t know when the league semi-finals will be – they could be at the end of that week or the start of the following week, so we’d be stupid to not bare that in mind, but you also want to maintain the momentum.
“You don’t want to lose the last game of the season away from home, at Carrow Road, a good pitch, a good atmosphere, and it will be a really good chance for us to show again how far we’ve come.
“We’ll make some changes, it won’t be a radical change, and make sure we’re dusted up and ready for the semi-finals.”
