Taylor makes loan move

Wolves Academy midfielder Terry Taylor has joined League Two side Grimsby Town on a season-long loan.

Taylor’s first loan move away comes after he signed a fresh two-year deal at Molineux in July, following his breakthrough season for the under-23s.

The former Aberdeen man joined Wolves in 2017 and was handed his first-team debut by Nuno Espirito Santo against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup in October 2019.

The youngster has previously played internationally for Wales under-21s and trained with Ryan Giggs’ senior side last summer.

Now, for the next stage of Taylor’s development, he links up with the Mariners, who face Harrogate Town in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.
