Two goals from Benny Ashley-Seal wasn't enough to earn Wolves all three points as the Under 23s drew 2-2 with Stoke City Under 23s on Friday evening.
Despite the first half being scrappy, Wolves went at half time in front. After doing well down the left hand side, Ryan Giles picked out Oskar Buur at the back post. The Wolves full back drove the ball back across goal to find Benny Ashley-Seal who tapped in his eight goal of the season.
Wolves started the second half well and doubled their lead in the 52nd minute. Niall Ennis held off Simranjit Thandi before driving into the Stoke box and then pulling the ball back to Ashley-Seal who grabbed his and Wolves second of the evening.
The Potters fought back and during a four minute period, they were back level. First, Mark Waddington capitalised on a lapse in concentration in the Wolves defence to head beyond Andreas Sondergaard. Then, just minutes later, Harry Souttar tapped home a City corner to earn his side a point.

"We've come away from home and not lost, we've scored two goals and we look a threat going forward.
