Hause Continues Comeback for Under 21s

Birmingham Senior Cup Quarter Final at Solihull Moors tonight

Kortney Hause continues his comeback from injury this evening as Wolves Under-21s face a tough test at Solihull Moors in the quarter finals of the Birmingham Senior Cup.

Hause, who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury suffered in last October’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Middlesbrough, came through 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors friendly with Northampton Town at Compton Park last Tuesday.

He will now continue that comeback in tonight’s cup tie, in a squad also featuring Sylvain Deslandes and Bright Enobakhare in terms of Wolves’ senior experience.

Solihull Moors currently top National League North, and were re-instated into the Birmingham Senior Cup after a 2-1 defeat to Redditch United when it was judged that Redditch had fielded an unregistered player.

Wolves reached the quarter final stage thanks to victories against Stourbridge and Coleshill.

The winners of tonight’s tie will face the victors of the last eight clash between Stratford Town and Rushall Olympic.

There will be no extra time this evening – if the game is level after 90 minutes it will be decided by penalties.

Admission is £5 for adults or £2 for Under-16s.
