Will helps launch climate change survey

A new climate change survey for football fans has been launched by a group of climate-conscious players, including Wolves Women midfielder Merrick Will.

The survey is for football fans and aims to explore the relationship between fans, climate change and sustainability. Fans are encouraged to answer all questions as honestly as possible – you can complete the survey here.

Earlier this year, Will was unveiled as the latest One Pack, One Planet ambassador, to help drive and promote Wolves’ environmental sustainability programme.

The midfielder also joined up with Football For Future and Common Goal for season two of their Climate Champions Community, a tailored programme to raise awareness and empower players to take meaningful steps toward a sustainable future.

As part of this community of the world’s most climate-conscious players, Will has been integral to the development of the climate change survey, which has already been completed by hundreds of football fans from over 20 countries.

Speaking of her appointment as a One Pack, One Planet ambassador Will said: “Sustainability is important to everybody, especially for this generation, as we want to protect the planet and make sure that it's better for the next generation. We've got a real big responsibility to do that, and I'm hoping, as a player, I can influence and help educate other people on the same topics.”

Wolves marked the second anniversary of its One Pack, One Planet programme by publishing their annual environmental sustainability report earlier this year, which includes profiles of the club’s sustainability ambassadors – you can read and downloaded here
