Jose Sa has been nominated for the Coca-Cola February Save of the Month following his superb double stop against Nottingham Forest.
The Wolves goalkeeper faced 35 shots that evening at the City Ground, as he helped Wolves maintain clean sheet in their goalless draw.
Despite making a record high 10 saves, Sa was not to be beaten, and among the stops he pulled off was one incredible reflex save to deny opposing defender Morato.
As the Old Gold fought tooth and nail to stop Forest from taking a lead, Sa had to be at his best to firstly deny Igor Jesus but the rebound save was even better as he quickly got back to his feet to palm away Morato’s effort on the follow up.
Sa faces competition from Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham Hotspur), Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City), Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa), David Raya (Arsenal) and Jordan Pickford (Everton) to claim the February 2026 Save of the Month award.
