FA Cup date confirmed and Palace visit moved

Wolves’ Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie away at Grimsby Town will be broadcast live by TNT Sports after a kick-off date and time were confirmed.

After Saturday’s victory over Shrewsbury Town, Rob Edwards’ side were drawn against fellow League Two outfit Grimsby, and the Old Gold will travel to Blundell Park on Sunday 15th February for a 1.30pm kick-off.

The match against The Mariners – the first time the teams have met in 23 years – will be shown live on TNT Sports 1 and discovery +.

That is not the only change to Wolves’ fixture schedule for February, with the Premier League visit to Crystal Palace the following weekend now set to kick off a day later following the Eagles’ participation in the UEFA Conference League.

The Old Gold were originally scheduled to take on Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday 21st February, but due to the hosts being in the Conference League knockout phase play-offs the preceding Thursday, the match will now kick-off at 2pm on Sunday 22nd.

With the game being moved to the Sunday, it also means Wolves’ visit to south London will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Four of Wolves’ five February fixtures will now be shown live on TV in the UK, with the visit to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday 11th being broadcast on TNT Sports, while Edwards’ side will take on Aston Villa at Molineux on Friday 27th February in front of the Sky cameras.

Wolves’ first February fixture sees the Old Gold host Chelsea at Molineux on Saturday 7th February, with that game remaining a 3pm kick-off.
