Rob Edwards has called on his group to carry the positives from back-to-back away showings back to Molineux on Saturday, when his side face West Ham United.
The Old Gold produced two impressive performances after Christmas, which saw them come close to a result at Liverpool and end their losing run with a point at Old Trafford.
Edwards has seen his side impress in all of their away games, but struggled to hit the same heights on home soil, but returning with a fresh optimism following the draw at Manchester United, now is the time to turn things around at home, says the head coach.
On the United game showing progress
“I used the word progress after the game itself but was quite keen to stress that we'd had four really good performances away from home. I thought we deserved to take something from at least one of those games, so it was great to take something away for a bit of belief. It was a nice moment afterwards with the supporters as well. But what I was most pleased with was the performance. I thought it was a fairly complete performance for the full game, which was what we want.
“The intensity levels are better. There's more of a confidence and belief but that's only going to come from more results and more performances and being more consistent with what we do. There are certainly certain things that we've improved on, but it's a difficult league, and we came in at a difficult moment, so it was always going to be hard to instantly get those results. I said to the lads after the game that we need to get that performance level at home. That's the most important thing for us now.”

On turning performances at home
“It's something that we've got to talk about, and then you’ve got to action. I can talk about it as much as I want, but in the end the lads who go over that white line have got to go and do it, because they're the ones that play. Hopefully we can continue doing the right things that we've done the last couple of games. So that's obviously the plan, and that's what we've got to try and execute tomorrow.
“We need to go with that belief and some good confidence. There's maybe a little bit of form that we're starting to put together now, and we hope that that will transmit into results as well. I’m really looking forward to the game. Obviously, it's a big game, and it's one I think the players are looking forward to as well. They seemed energised by it today.”
On the powers of the supporters
“The four away games that we've had, the travelling support has been incredible. They’ve seen four good performances, and they've been with us at the end of the game. Those scenes the other day were good for the players to give their thanks and their appreciation to the supporters at the end, but also then for the supporters to show that they appreciated the performance.
“It certainly helps if we have that, and if we have that at home, of course it will. If there's a positive atmosphere, and the fans are really willing to get behind the lads, that's the most important thing, and then it's obviously down to us to try and get the performance level right, to keep that going throughout the game.”

On looking after Mane
“We don't want to put too much pressure and expectation on him, but his performances have been really good and really encouraging. It's great that people get excited about him – we want that, but that's all completely down to him, he's deserved to play, he's deserved to stay on the pitch when he's been playing as well. It's a nice thing for people to be talking about in a difficult period at the moment. He's been great, and I think some of his infectious energy has rubbed off as well, which has been good.
“We’ve struggled for points, but in the two games he's started, it hasn't looked like a struggling team with the performances, and he's obviously contributed to that. He's been a big plus, but I think the most impressive thing is for a teenager to come into a team in the Premier League and show the bravery and the quality that he's shown. But not only that, the athleticism, the running power that he's shown, the energy levels to complete two 90 plus minutes at big stadiums, big games, with nervous tension and nervous energy as well. Fair play to him.”
