Silva completes Bundesliga move

Fabio Silva has completed a permanent move from Wolves to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

The attacker ends a five-year association with Wolves, having joined the club from Porto as a teenager back in September 2020 and going on to play 73 times for the Old Gold.

The majority of the Portuguese’s opportunities at Molineux came in that opening year, when he scored four goals, including home and away against West Bromwich Albion.

The return of Raul Jimenez from injury reduced his opportunities and Silva spent time at Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven, before returning under Gary O’Neil during the 2023/24 season.

During that second spell in the Old Gold first-team he played ten times, scoring against Blackpool in the Carabao Cup, before departing on loan to Rangers and then Las Palma for the whole of the 2024/25 campaign.

All at Wolves thank Fabio for his efforts while at the club and wish him the best of luck in the future.
