A busy final week of pre-season saw Wolves face their last two friendly fixtures in two countries as preparations for Saturday’s Premier League opener against Manchester City ramped up.
The week including a third new signing, two friendlies against La Liga opposition, a flight home from Spain, Premier League meetings and a media access day at Compton.
With less than a week to go now until their Premier League campaign gets underway, wolves.co.uk has rounded up everything that has been happening during the final week of pre-season.
Saturday 2nd August
The final week of pre-season began with a new face through the door as Wolves announced the signing of Norwegian international defender David Moller Wolfe.
Wolfe arrived into the Black Country on Friday afternoon where he carried out his medical and media duties before his signing was announced the following morning.
While over in Spain, Vitor Pereira welcomed legendary Old Gold players Steve Bull and Andy Thompson as well as the Wolves supporters who had travelled over to Spain on a golf package, before taking to the course later in the day.
The squad were also put through their paces in preparations for the penultimate pre-season friendly against Girona on Sunday evening. Joao Gomes even became a cameraman for the day as he got hold of some of the Wolves TV kit to give a behind the scenes look at training in the gym.
