Vitor Pereira is in the running for the Barclays Manager of the Month award following a perfect April for Wolves on the pitch.
No other club won all of their matches across the month, with the Portuguese guiding his side to a 15-point haul across April and Premier League safety in the process.
Wolves began with a narrow, but important victory over West Ham United, with Jorgen Strand Larsen scoring the only goal, as the Old Gold secured a crucial clean sheet.
The following Saturday Strand Larsen scored the winner again, converting a cross from Pablo Sarabia, who’d earlier dragged his side level, as Wolves came from behind to beat Ipswich Town.
A 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur provided another highlight, with Rayan Ait-Nouri, Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha sealing the win, along with a Spurs own goal.
Next up was an Easter trip to Old Trafford, where Sarabia’s brilliant free-kick sealed a 1-0 win and Premier League double over the Red Devils.
Finally, the month concluded last Saturday with a comfortable win over Leicester City. Cunha and Strand Larsen were once again on target, and after Jose Sa had denied Jamie Vardy from the penalty spot, Rodrigo Gomes rounded off the scoring in Wolves’ sixth successive win.
