Vote for Wolves’ December Player of the Month

Wolves supporters can now have their say on who picks up the club’s Monster Energy Player of the Month award for December.

As usual this season, all the members of Gary O’Neil’s squad who have appeared for the first-team during the month can be voted for.

In December, there are 20 players in the running for the award, as the team picked up four wins from their seven Premier League outings, as well as extending their unbeaten run at Molineux to eight games.

Following defeat on the road at Arsenal to open the month, Wolves picked up four points from their two home matches against Burnley and Nottingham Forest, with goals from Hee Chan Hwang and Matheus Cunha extending their tallies for the season.

After the away loss to West Ham United, Wolves produced stunning form to end the calendar year as the Old Gold became the Premier League’s best team during the festive period.

Three wins from three against Chelsea, Brentford and Everton earned a possible nine points in just six days for O’Neil’s men. Molineux has been a fortress for Wolves this season, and it was the case once again on Christmas Eve as the team put the Blues to the sword thanks to goals from Mario Lemina and Matt Doherty.

Lemina was on the scoresheet once again at Brentford as Wolves picked up their first away win since October to sting the Bees. Hwang’s brace followed by Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s finish ensured it would be very merry Christmas for supporters.

Then on Saturday, Wolves ended 2023 in perfect fashion, as they put three without reply past Everton, with Maximilian Kilman, Cunha and Craig Dawson finding the back of the net.
