March nominations for Player of the Month

The nominations are now open for the March Castore Player of the Month award.

Jose Sa, Maximilian Kilman, Ruben Neves and Adama Traore are all up for the March honour, in month where victory over Tottenham Hotspur proved the highlight.

Goalkeeper Sa kept a clean sheet in that win over Spurs and his fingertip save from Dejan Kulusevski earned the Portuguese a nomination for the Premier League’s Save of the Month award – one of six stops that afternoon.

At Newcastle United one week later, it was Kilman completing the most passes in an old gold shirt with 63, while he also led the way for blocks and touches alongside Craig Dawson.

Captain Neves has been a regular amongst the monthly nominations this term and against Liverpool he was Wolves’ number one for passes, tackles attempted, interceptions, blocks and touches – a truly all round performance.

Finally, it was Adama’s brilliantly improvised finish against Spurs which proved Wolves’ only winner of the month, while his impact helped inspire a mini rival against Leeds United, before the old gold were eventually undone.
