The 22-year-old has been out of action since October, when he injured his ankle at West Ham United, but after four months on the sidelines, he featured in the matchday squad for Saturday’s win at Southampton.
Having remained on the bench, Monday was his next step, and he took just eight minutes to be back amongst the goals in old gold.

Starting on the left wing for James Collins’ side, Neto robbed possession from the Arsenal defence, charged down the wing and fired low beyond the goalkeeper to put the youngsters in front.
Neto remained on the pitch for the first 45 minutes – when Dexter Lembikisa sealed the win with the second – before being replaced at the break.
His return was watched from the side at Compton Park by head coach Julen Lopetegui, sporting director Matt Hobbs and a group of first-team players, including Ruben Neves and Nelson Semedo.
Now, Neto will be hoping to be involved for the first-team, who take on AFC Bournemouth at Molineux on Saturday.
