In a month where Wolves lost just one of their six game across 90 minutes, against the champions Manchester City, Nathan Collins, Matheus Nunes, Ruben Neves and Daniel Podence are all up for the award.
In defence, Collins has impressed. The Irishman produced two crucial clearances with the score in the balance at the Etihad Stadium, helped Wolves to a vital clean sheet against the Hammers and made an impressive 11 clearances against Aston Villa.
Nunes has come into his own under head coach Julen Lopetegui, playing a key role in the winner against West Ham United with a lung-bursting run and completing the most dribbles in old gold, likewise in the draw at Villa.
Next to him, captain Neves once again impressed. No Wolves player completed more passes against Villa, Liverpool at Anfield and West Ham than the midfielder, who led by example once again.
Finally, Podence found the back of the net twice in January, earning Wolves four points in the process against Villa and West Ham with fantastic finishes, taking his season total to five.
