The Wolves captain helped his side register three wins without conceding from a possible four during last month, with his leadership and positional play at the centre of Nuno Espirito Santo’s back three coming to the fore.
Coady’s successful month, which also included his first goal and a time wearing the captain’s armband for the senior England side, saw him dominate at the back as Wolves secured victories over Fulham, Leeds United and Crystal Palace, while conceding just the one goal in a draw against Newcastle United.
The skipper faces competition from Che Adams (Southampton), Pablo Fornals (West Ham United), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Harry Kane and Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur), Thiago Silva (Chelsea) and Kyle Walker (Manchester City).
