Vote for August’s SUDU Player of the Month

Wolves supporters can now have their say on who picks up the SUDU Player of the Month award for August 2026.

Vote for August Player of the Month here.

All the members of Cesar Peixoto’s current squad who have appeared for the first-team during the opening month of 2026/27 can be voted for, meaning there are 21 players in the running for the first award of the season.

It was a positive August for Wolves, who have picked up four wins from their first five matches of the new campaign, including racking up seven points from a possible nine in the Championship and progressing into the Carabao Cup third round, while finding the net 14 times.

The Old Gold began August by putting three past League Two Port Vale without reply in the first round of the cup, thanks to goals by Adam Armstrong, Andre and Fer Lopez, before earning a point in the opening Championship game of the season against Blackburn, with Marshall Munetsi getting on the scoresheet before Raul Jimenez notched his first goal since returning to the club.

Wolves then claimed successive wins in the league, the first of those involved the team winning 3-1 away at Preston North End – which saw Lopez net a brace and Armstrong add his second of the season – before securing a place in the Carabao Cup with a comfortable 2-0 victory over League One Sheffield Wednesday, as an own goal was added to by young defender Saheed Olagunju for his first senior goal.

The month was rounded out at Molineux against Stoke City last Saturday, as Rodrigo Gomes scored twice, before Jimenez scored another from the penalty spot and Jordan James’ debut goal in gold and black confirmed the three points in a 4-1 victory.
