Wolves put in an impressive performance at London Stadium, showing their resolve and character to stay in the game and win it at the death.
Adama Traore rewarded the hard work which had gone on during the previous 90 minutes to leave Wolves players and staff ecstatic come the final whistle.
“It’s incredible. It’s what you play football for, to play games like this,” Coady said.
“I thought we played fantastically well, we moved the ball really well and created chances against a really good team at a tough place to go.
“We’d have been devastated if we hadn’t come away with the win so that was special for the boys.”
The performance particularly pleased Coady, who believes the showing was a reflection of the hard work which goes on between Nuno and his players every day.
“That’s how we want to play. It’s a really tough place to come, so to control the game like we did is pleasing.
“It’s a confidence in what the manager does in terms of how he sets us up and wants us to play. We believe in everything he does, we listen to him on the training ground day by day.
“We’ve been improving and you’ve heard the manager talking about us getting better and you saw today how we want to play against good teams.”
