Another sellout away following of almost 4,000 fans will head to the Madejski Stadium tomorrow for a typically tough Sky Bet Championship test against a Royals side buoyed by successive wins against Nottingham Forest and Derby in which they plundered seven goals.
And the Wolves Head Coach has paid tribute to that backing as the team set out on another three games in a week with Leeds and Bolton the visitors to Molineux on Wednesday and Saturday.
“We are playing away from home but will have 4000 fans at Reading – it will feel like being in Molineux, “ says Nuno.
“Let us go there and enjoy it, and fight as hard as we can together, like Wolves.
“The support we get is very important.
“Our fans being in all these stadiums, to have so many people there from Wolverhampton.
“We are very thankful and proud of being together in this tough journey.”
And tough is exactly what Nuno is expecting as Wolves head to a ground where they haven’t won in five visits stretching back to 2005.
“Reading are a good team, with good players and ideas, and a good coach,” he explains.
“They reached the play-off final last season, and they manage the ball well.
“We have to control all that and try and take advantage of any weaknesses.
“We have to put on the pitch what we have been doing all season long, play as we can every game, and that will what will lead us to success.
“All the games have been very hard for us and there is never any game that will be easy.
“We now have three games in a week which will be tough, but we cannot think about anything else about from Reading.
“That is all that is on our mind – it is step by step, every day is important and every game represents a lot.
“All we are focused on is preparing for Reading.”
Nuno must make at least one change to his team with Barry Douglas, King of the Assists in the victory against Fulham last time out, serving a one-game suspension after accumulating five bookings.
He must also assess the raft of players who have returned from international duty.
“Everyone came back healthy, but in different circumstances,” he reports.
“Some had great moments with their national team and others not so.
“We deal with that and then we prepare and get that focus ready for the Reading game.
“Everybody is an option for us which is good and a sign of good health.
“We have had a good opportunity during the last two weeks to work on things which are difficult to do when you have so many games.
“It is always with an idea of how to progress and be better each day.
“That is what counts and what is important – that identity that we want to build.”
