Wolves are currently in Austria on a pre-season training camp where they will also play three pre-season friendly matches.
Dicko says that the team are confident heading into the new season, as the squad prepare to face Werder Bremen on Wednesday.
The 25 year old explains that there is a good bond amongst the group - he hopes that can be shown on the pitch.
The French striker said, “It feels like a fresh start for some of the players - there have been some changes but that’s football and you have to deal with it.
“We have a new manager and a new philosophy, it is like a fresh start for everyone but in the end it’s the same football club - we still have to defend this badge like we did in the past.
“We are really confident and hopefully we will be able to have a good season.
“I think the most important thing about our time away is the bonds which are made off the pitch.
“We’ve got good guys all around the place here - I don't think we will have any problems amongst the group and hopefully that will be shown during the first matches.”
Dicko admits that the start of pre-season has been tough for all of the players but also enjoyable.
Under the guidance of Nuno, he feels he is feeling positive ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
“Pre-season has been tough so far but it’s been really good - it’s a new philosophy, he’s trying to teach us his way of playing and his way of viewing things.
“We have all quite enjoyed it so far and hopefully we will be able to take that into the first games and into the season.
“The first sessions have been really good, I’ve really enjoyed it - I feel good and everyone is feeling good so it’s all good.”
