Paul Lambert says Wolves will continue to go out and play with confidence, and without fear, as they prepare for Saturday’s derby with Aston Villa (5.30pm).
Performances have been on the upturn since Lambert’s arrival, culminating in Saturday’s impressive Emirates FA Cup win at Stoke City.
Whatever the results, the Head Coach insists Wolves have to continue to try and go out and “make things happen”.
"We're playing without fear,” he said.
“Any game, anyone that's played under me will tell you, I go to try and win.
"It was the same at Norwich, even at Wycombe when I first started out.
"I've got lads in the team that I think play a certain way.
“Going to try and win games is better than waiting for things to happen.
"You've got to go and make it happen yourself.
"We're playing with so much confidence at the minute – they seem to be enjoying it.
"When a new manager comes in you tend to get a reaction for a couple of weeks and then things go back into a lull.
"Thankfully it's going the other way, it seems to be snowballing."
Lambert meanwhile is hopeful winger Ivan Cavaleiro will be available for the Villa game after being unavailable for the trip to the Potteries.
"Cavaleiro had a little problem with his knee but he's trained now so hopefully he'll be okay and available for this weekend,” the Head Coach confirmed.
Prince Oniangue also missed out on the 18 at the weekend but has been suffering from illness as he battles to force his way in to Lambert’ plans.
"Prince wasn't well, he had a bug and didn't travel with us,” he said.
“He was back with us yesterday but still wasn't up to speed, he had a viral problem."
"He needs to get games.
“He's a lovely lad, a really top bloke, but I can only pick two central midfielders and there's more here than I can count.
"So he's just going to have to fight like everybody else."
