Wolves midfielder Dave Edwards came off the bench as Wales booked their passage into the group stages of Euro 2016 thanks to a 3-0 victory over Russia.
Edwards, who had started in the victory against Slovakia and then come off the bench against England, replaced Joe Allen after 74 minutes on a night to relish for Chris Coleman’s team.
Former Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey, who made 162 appearances during his time at Molineux, and striker Sam Vokes, who made 59, also started last night’s game meaning all three of the 2008/09 promotion winners were on the pitch at full time.
Edwards battled to be fit to make the championships after breaking his metatarsal for Wolves at QPR in January, and will be delighted to have appeared in all three group games.
He will now be hoping to be involved in the last 16 tie, with Wales facing one of the third placed teams in Paris on Saturday (5pm).
