Following the appointment of new Head Coach Paul Lambert, Wolves are to re-introduce regular access to the Compton Park training ground for supporters.
The training ground has been closed to the public for several months, but Lambert is keen to offer the opportunity for fans to come and watch training sessions.
These sessions will be on designated days and will be publicised in advance, with the first opportunity the training session on Tuesday next week (November 15th).
“As I said to the media when I arrived last week, the fans are a massive part of the club, and we will need their support,” said the Head Coach.
“I know that Wolves is a club with a big and passionate support both at home and away, and that is something I really want us to be able to use to our advantage.
“It is something I have been thinking about in terms of giving fans the chance to come and watch us train, and hopefully help them feel involved in what we are trying to do.
“It should give fans a bit of an insight into the work we do on the training ground, and add to that feeling of togetherness which we will need if we are going to be successful.”
Sessions in the build-up to matches will remain closed, but there will be regular opportunities for fans to watch training, starting this Tuesday, from 10.15am.
Details of these open sessions will be publicised in advance on the club’s official website and social media channels.
Fans attending Compton Park via car are asked to park at the top of the drive and then walk down and view training from the spectator’s area to the right of the main building.
