We have to do better

Nouha Dicko believes Wolves must improve if they are to take three points against Leeds at Molineux on Saturday.

The forward explained that Wolves need to return to winning ways after a recent run without three points.

Speaking ahead of the Leeds clash, Dicko said: "We have to do better. We all know this. Against Villa we played well, we felt like we should have won. Against Brighton it wasn't the best game but we could have done a lot better.

"We know what we can do – and now we have to do it on the pitch. We can't always say 'yeah we should have, we could have'...to be fair I'm not used to saying these things because since I've been at Wolves we've done good things.

I"t's really important, these three points. We have to start winning otherwise it's going to be really tough."

The striker believes that Wolves have all the components of success are there, it's just a matter of putting it together on the pitch.

"We need to stay together," said Dicko before adding: "We have the right players, the right manager, owners that have done a great job for the club already and now it's down to the players to go out and perform.

"Hopefully tomorrow we get the win because it's already a very important game.

"We know how Wolverhampton Wanderers is a good place to be and one of the best clubs in England if everything is right.

"Hopefully we can turn things around tomorrow. I have no doubt we have the quality to do it."

Dicko made his first start for Wolves in over a year as the forward enters the final stage of his rehabilitation following a serious knee injury.

And the 24-year-old feels like he is getting strong every game.

He said: "Tuesday was a difficult game for me.

"I feel like it was a phase I needed to go through with the team. Hopefully if I start tomorrow I'll do a lot better.

"I thought I would feel worse but the next day I felt okay and on Thursday I felt quite good.

"Usually since I've come back I've felt tired after the games. But I felt alright.

"At the same time in the game I felt like I needed a bit more rhythm. But it's coming.

"It's something I needed to do. I know it's hard for the manager because I think he wants every player to be at his best when they play."
