Wolves' summer transfer window

The 2016 summer transfer window closed at 11pm on Wednesday night with Wolves signing a total of 13 players.

Beginning with Andy Lonergan on 8th June and concluding with Ivan Cavaleiro on 31st August, Wolves brought in a host of new players to strengthen the first team.

 

The full breakdown of the new additions is as follows:

 

Andy Lonergan - 8th June

The former Preston, Leeds and Bolton goalkeeper arrived from Fulham on a two-year-deal.

 

Helder Costa - 29th July

On loan from Benfica, the 22-year-old attacker was the second summer addition.

 

Silvio - 30th July

Portuguese international defender, Silvio, moved to Wolves on a one-year-deal from Atletico Madrid.

 

Joao Teixeira - 2nd August

The highly-rated Benfica attacking midfielder arrived on a season-long loan.

 

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 2nd August

After competing with Iceland during their impressive Euro 2016 campaign, the 24-year-old forward signed for Wolves on a three-year deal.

 

Prince Oniangue - 16th August

Arriving from Ligue 2 side Stade de Reims, the Congo captain signed a four-year-deal at Molineux.

 

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson - 22nd August

The England Under 19 international and Manchester United defender arrived on a season-long loan.

 

Ola John - 22nd August

The 24-year-old Benfica winger who spent last year with Reading joined Wolves on a season-long loan.

 

Paul Gladon - 26th August

The Dutch striker signed on a three-year-deal at Molinuex from Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo.

 

Jack Ruddy - 29th August

The promising young goalkeeper arrived from Bury to join up with Wolves' Under 23 side.

 

Romain Saiss - 30th August

The Moroccan international midfielder arrived from Ligue 1 side Angers on a four-year-deal.

 

Richard Stearman - 31st August

Stearman returned to Molineux for his second spell with the club on a season-long loan from Fulham.

 

Ivan Cavaleiro - 31st August

The highly-rated Portuguese international arrived from AS Monaco on a five-year-deal.
