Sasa Kalajdzic has joined Austrian Bundesliga side LASK on a season-long loan.
The striker recently recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament injury picked up in February 2024, making his return in Wolves' Carabao Cup win over West Ham United and gaining further minutes against Everton at the weekend.
The Austrian first moved to Molineux three years ago, but two serious knee injuries have led to lengthy spells on the sidelines, and it’s hoped his recovery can continue in his home nation this season.
Kalajdzic has 16 Wolves appearances to his name and three goals – two important winners against Everton and AFC Bournemouth in the space of three 2023 months.
After taking his time recovering from the latest knee injury picked up on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt, the 28-year-old came through a full pre-season under Vitor Pereira and now joins LASK on loan for the remainder of the season.
