FPL | A double home delight

A home win in March saw Wolves players represented in the Fantasy Premier League Team of the Week.

But who are the top transfer targets according to Fantasy Football Hub’s artificial intelligence going into April?

It’s been a crucial month of action for Wolves, with the 2-1 win against Fulham in Gameweek 28 taking Gary O'Neil's side over that crucial 40 point barrier, remaining in the top half of the Premier League table.

In fantasy terms, we saw Rayan Ait-Nouri (£4.6m) make the Team of the Week, hitting ten points in that game, with his first Premier League goal of the season. That’s his third attacking return of 2024 and he’s the top performing player in the club in FPL terms for March.

Moving into April, Wolves top the Fantasy Football Hub Fixture Analyser, being one of seven sides who have two fixtures in Double Gameweek 34, facing Arsenal and Bournemouth at home. The side have six fixtures in the next five gameweeks compared to some sides who have just four.

Four of those games come at Molineux, while the other two fixtures are trips to Burnley and Nottingham Forest, two sides who are battling to avoid relegation, currently sitting 17th and 18th in the Premier League table.

This attractive run of fixtures give FPL managers plenty of utility and assets should be considered, especially if there are no plans to Free Hit in Double Gameweek 34.

Matheus Cunha (£5.5m), who is expected to return from injury against Burnley tomorrow evening, leads the AI points predictions going into April, with the forward predicted to score 32.0 points over the five gameweeks. He’s ranked fifth in the overall rankings over this spell and fourth among all players for FPL Gameweek 34 in particular.

He has the pedigree for this upcoming schedule, having registered an assist in the reverse fixture against Burnley, plus he’s also scored against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Arsenal this season.

Given Pedro Neto (£5.6m) is out until May, Pablo Sarabia (£4.7m) has been dominating set pieces. He’s taken 11 corners in March, creating seven chances for his teammates.

There are key fantasy options across positions, with Ait-Nouri predicted to score 22.6 points in April, while goalkeeper Jose Sa (£5.0m) is not far behind on a 22.5 prediction. He made ten saves in March.
