FPL MD 28 | Sign up Sarabia

With another Fantasy Premier League transfer deadline looming, wolves.co.uk assesses transfer options from inside and out of the Old Gold camp.

Last time out…

Mario Lemina (£4.9m) | Goals: 4 | Assists: 0 | Next three: FUL (H), AVL (A), BUR (A)

No Wolves player earned more than two FPL points at Newcastle United last weekend, but one of those with two, Mario Lemina, could be worth a punt ahead of the weekend. The midfielder has now scored as many goals this season as in his previous five combined, after netting in the win at Molineux last time out against Brighton & Hove Albion. That FA Cup strike added to the four he’s claimed in the Premier League.

Fabian Schar (£5.4m) | Goals: 3 | Assists: 3 | Next three: CHE (A), WHU (H), EVE (H)

In last week’s St James’ Park clash, Fabian Schar led the way for FPL points with 12. That’s because he was part of a clean sheet-winning defendce but also provided an assist for their third goal, which led to maximum bonus points. He’s been selected in 8.9 per cent of teams, having claimed six goal contributions this term and he’s the seventh most productive defender on the game this season.

Coming up…

Pablo Sarabia (£4.7m) | Goals: 3 | Assists: 6 | Next three: FUL (H), AVL (A), BUR (A)

With Hee Chan Hwang joining Matheus Cunha in the treatment table room, extra attacking responsibility may fall at the feet of Pablo Sarabia. The Spaniard scored on his last Premier League outing at Molineux against Sheffield United and came close to a goal at Newcastle. He’s got nine goal involvements in the Premier League and will expect to start once again at the weekend.

Bernd Leno (£4.8m) | Clean sheets: 7 | Next three: WOL (A), TOT (H), SHU (A)

Fulham’s top FPL earner this season has been goalkeeper Bernd Leno, who is three off double figures for points this term. The German is in 15.1 per cent of teams, given he’s a sub-£5m regular between the sticks. He’s got six games without a meeting with an opposition rated four or five on the fixture difficulty rating. He has seven clean sheets so far this season.
