The week’s FPL deadline arrives on Friday evening and wolves.co.uk presents options for any managers assessing their transfer options.
Last time out…
Sasa Kalajdzic (£4.9m) | Goals: 2 | Assists: 0 | Next three: NEW (H), SHU (A), TOT (H)
Sasa Kalajdzic’s late winner at Bournemouth not only earned Wolves victory but also top points on FPL. The Austrian earned four points for the goal, three bonus points and his additional minutes point, taking him to eight, one ahead of fellow scorer Matheus Cunha. It was the 26-year-old’s second winner of the season and, as he eyes more minutes, will managers take a punt on the budget option for a striker?
Dominic Solanke (£6.4m) | Goals: 4 | Assists: 1 | Next three: BUR (H), MCI (A), NEW (H)
Earning seven points in the Bournemouth camp last season was Dominic Solanke. The first half goal took him to him to four for the season and he’s now selected by 3.1% of FPL managers. He leads the way for Bournemouth all season too, with his 39 points seeing him comfortably ahead of Neto in second. Saturday’s clash with Burnley is rated two out of five on the FPL difficulty rating.
This week…
Matheus Cunha (£5.5m) | Goals: 2 | Assists: 1 | Next three: NEW (H), SHU (A), TOT (H)
Cunha scored for the second time this season last time out, continuing his ever-improving relationship with Pedro Neto and Hee Chan Hwang. The Brazilian has 30 FPL points for the season and has started every Premier League match under Gary O’Neil. Owned by less than one percent of FPL managers, the ever-present attacker could be a differential option for FPL managers.
Kieran Trippier (£7m) | Goals: 0 | Assists: 6 | Next three: WOL (A), ARS (H), BOU (A)
Newcastle’s top point earner is, unsurprisingly, Kieran Tripper. That’s because the England full-back is already on six assists for the season, all of which have arrived in the past four weeks. Trippier is in-form ahead of his trip to Molineux, after he assisted against Palace. Tripper is the second most owned FPL player behind Erling Haaland and has rewarded those managers with 58 FPL points.
"We believe in the group. Every single player, the staff, and the coach. This is the most important thing for us."
