FPL MD7 | Neto rising in ownership

Wolves players are proving popular on Fantasy Premier League this week and as Saturday’s deadline approaches, wolves.co.uk provides some food for thought.

Last time out…

Hee Chan Hwang (£5.4m) | Goals: 4 | Assists: 0 | Next three: VIL (H), BOU (A), NEW (H)

Hee Chan Hwang scored in the Premier League for the fourth time last weekend, hitting the winner against Manchester City to help him on his way to eight FPL points. The South Korean has scooped 28 season points in total and has netted in his last two in all competitions. He’s selected by just 0.4% of FPL managers and plays in attacking positions as a midfielder, so looks good value at £5.4m.

Julian Alvarez (£7m) | Goals: 3 | Assists: 5 | Next three: ARS (A), BHA (H), MNU (A)

Equalling Hwang for FPL points at Molineux last weekend was Julian Alvarez, who scored a free-kick to draw City momentarily level. That was the youngster’s eighth goal involvement of the FPL season, and he scored in Champions League action on Wednesday too. Alvarez is owned by 32% of managers, so is a popular pick, but has some big games on the agenda, which he’ll look to make a mark in.

This week…

Pedro Neto (£5.6m) | Goals: 1 | Assists: 5 | Next three: VIL (H), BOU (A), NEW (H)

Pedro Neto produced an attacking return for the fifth consecutive Premier League game last weekend, as he forced an own goal out of Ruben Dias and was credited with the FPL assist. With 38 points, he’s comfortably Wolves’ top FPL earner and is rising in price and ownership. The Portuguese has one goal and five FPL assists to his name and has played every minute of league action for Wolves this term.

Ollie Watkins (£8m) | Goals: 4 | Assists: 6 | Next three: WOL (A), WHU (H), LUT (H)

Ollie Watkins scooped the highest points total in a single gameweek as he took home 23 FPL points from Aston Villa’s win over Brighton & Hove Albion. That’s because the England striker scored three and claimed two assists in the victory, inevitably leading to maximum bonus points. Watkins scored the week previous at Chelsea too, so is a striker in form ahead of the trip to Molineux.
