Today's goal of the day came during one of Wolves' greatest days in Europe, as the side of 1972 reached the final of the UEFA Cup.
Although Wolves fell to a 2-1 defeat at Molineux in the first leg, it was all to play for in the second. After Bill McGarry's side fell behind, Dave Wagstaffe stepped up and netted the equaliser to give his side a chance of taking the match to extra time.
