Wolves Express | Hall of Fame induction for Portuguese icon

Wednesday's episode of Wolves Express hears from legendary Old Gold striker John Richards after he inducted the late Diogo Jota into the club's Hall of Fame.

An intimate event held in Wolves Museum this week honoured the forward’s remarkable achievements in gold and black as members of the independent Hall of Fame committee united to induct their newest member.

Jota scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for the club, including successive European hat-tricks, in a golden modern era at Molineux, but died in a tragic car accident last summer alongside his brother Andre Silva.

Following his death, members of the Hall of Fame committee acted quickly to ensure the club honoured the forward in the best way possible, with vice-president Richards preceding over the latest induction.

Richards features in a special Wolves Express episode as he chats about the impact Jota made at Wolves and why the decision was made to induct him into the club's Hall of Fame.

There is also a chat with museum manager Sam Warrington, who talks about what the Hall of Fame means to the club's museum, why Jota is such a deserving inductee and what else the museum has done to honour the iconic former forward.

Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
