Wolves head across the midlands on Wednesday evening for a Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

A sold-out allocation of just under 3,000 supporters will be heading to the City Ground for the 7.30pm kick-off.

Kits

Nottingham Forest will be wearing their red home shirt and white shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the yellow goalkeeper shirt and yellow shorts.

Wolves will be wearing the 2025/26 blue and yellow third shirt and white shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the green goalkeeper shirt and green shorts.

Travel and transport

Train: Nearest train station when travelling from Wolverhampton is Nottingham Railway Station, which is 1.4 miles away from the stadium. It’s a 24 minute walk from the stadium, or there are various bus routes from the stadium to the ground (however, this will be severely congested on a matchday).

Coach and bus: Official coach travel for this fixture is sold out. It will depart Molineux at 4pm, we advise supporters to arrive around 30 minutes prior to the departure time. 

Driving: M6 southbound from Wolverhampton, postcode for the stadium is: NG2 5FJ. The estimated journey time is around one and a half hours via car from Wolverhampton.

Parking: There is no parking available for fans at the stadium.

Travel Disruption

No report of planned disruption across the public transport networks or on the roads leading to the City Ground.

Stadium Guide

Seating area: Wolves supporters will be located in the Bridgford Road Stand. 

Turnstile location: The away turnstiles are situated in the Bridgford Road Stand, and supporters will enter via the turnstile displayed on your ticket.   

Turnstiles opening time: Turnstiles are due to open around at 6.30pm (around one and half hours prior to kick-off). Please note, in some instances there can be delays to opening turnstiles.

Safety and security information

Flags/banners: Banners will only be permitted into the stadium with express prior notice and permission from our Stadium Operations team. Please call 0115 982 4444 for further assistance. 

Bag policy: Small bags that are A4 sized or smaller only (21cm x 29.7cm). No large bags or suitcases are allowed. 

Searches and bag checks: All fans will go through searches on entry and any bag allowed into the ground will also be searched thoroughly on entry.

Matchday reporting: Forest advocate a strict policy of zero-tolerance towards supporters who act or express racist, homophobic or aggressive views towards others. Should you see or hear any behaviours which you believe do not adhere to these policies and are unwelcome at The City Ground, we would urge you to text the word FOREST to 60066 on matchday so that they are able to act accordingly.
