Nathan Shi has been appointed interim executive chairman of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The appointment is subject to the completion of all requisite legal, regulatory and Premier League procedures, and will take effect upon satisfaction of these conditions.
In his role, Nathan Shi will work closely with technical director Matt Jackson, head coach Rob Edwards, and other members of the senior management team to provide strategic leadership and guide the club through its next phase of development.
Nathan Shi joined Fosun in 2016 and brings extensive experience in the development of Fosun’s core business segments, with a strong track record in project execution, operational management and resource integration.
Jeff Shi has stepped down from his role as executive chairman of Wolves. He will remain chairman and CEO of Fosun Sports Group but will have no operational duties relating to Wolves.
The board extends its sincere thanks to Jeff Shi for his leadership and service over the past decade, during which Wolves made significant progress, both on and off the pitch. In parallel, the board has accelerated the process of identifying and appointing a permanent executive chairman for Wolves.

Together, we have transformed the club into a global force, battling at the highest level.
