On Sunday, thousands of Wolves supporters will be making the short journey across the West Midlands as the Old Gold take on Aston Villa in the Premier League.

A sold-out allocation of just under 3,000 supporters will be heading to Villa Park for the 2.05pm kick-off on Sunday

Ticket availability: Tickets for this fixture have sold out.

Ticket delivery: All tickets for this fixture are digital tickets and were emailed to supporters on 25th November.

Aston Villa will be wearing their claret and blue home shirt and white shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the black goalkeeper shirt and black shorts.

Wolves will be wearing the 2025/26 old gold and black home shirt and black shorts, with the goalkeeper wearing the green goalkeeper shirt and green shorts.

Travel and transport

Train: Nearest train station is Witton station, which is 0.2 miles away from the stadium. West Midlands Railway service offers a direct train from Birmingham New Street. We recommend checking train timetables and planning your journey ahead of travelling to avoid any disruption. 

Coach and bus: Official coach travel for this fixture is sold out. It will depart Molineux at 11.30am, we advise supporters to arrive around 30 minutes prior to the departure time.

Driving: M6 eastbound from Wolverhampton, postcode for the stadium is: B6 6HE. The estimated journey time is around 45 minutes via car from Wolverhampton,

Parking: There is no parking available for general admission fans at the stadium.

Travel disruption

Stadium Guide

Seating area: Wolves supporters will be located in the Doug Ellis Stand.  

Turnstile location: For Doug Ellis Upper P, use turnstiles P87, P88, P88A and P89. From ground level there are several flights of stairs to reach the Upper Concourse Area (64 steps in total).

For Doug Ellis Lower Q, use turnstiles Q91 to Q96B.

Turnstiles opening time: Turnstiles are due to open around at 12.30pm (around one and a half hours prior to kick-off). Please note, in some instances there can be delays to opening turnstiles.  

Audio descriptive commentary: Visually impaired spectators can have free access to match commentary provided via earpieces that can be used from anywhere within the visiting supporter’s section.

Safety and security information

Supporters attending Villa Park are asked to show extra care if visiting the Villa Store, or if navigating through the North Stand car park, as sections of this area are currently under construction.

Flags/banners: Please email a photograph of your flag and / or banner to supporters@avfc.co.uk at least three days prior to your visit. Aston Villa reserve the right to refuse admission to any flag or banner.

Please get in touch in advance so they can confirm arrangements and avoid disappointing you on the day of the match.

Bag policy: Small bags should be OK to take in to the stadium. The contents will be examined by a steward as you enter Villa Park.

Larger bags and / or luggage cannot be taken in to the stadium. There is insufficient room and such items will inhibit spectator movement.

Unfortunately, Aston Villa are unable to offer any kind of storage facility for bags, back packs or luggage deemed too large to enter the stadium. Where possible, please do not bring any kind of bag.

Searches and bag checks: All fans will go through searches on entry and any bag allowed into the ground will also be searched thoroughly on entry.

Safeguarding information: Please note that children under the age of 14 will not be admitted to the ground unless they are accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, as per Aston Villa’s ticketing terms & conditions.

Aston Villa do not recommend that adults bring very young children, juniors under the age of three will only be admitted to the ground with an adult and if all supporters have their own match ticket and are sat together. Every supporter, regardless of age is required to have their own match ticket and Aston Villa would advise supporters not to travel to the ground if they do not have a ticket for the game.

Aston Villa have a team of Welfare Officers working each game (wearing pink bibs) who will be on hand to assist supporters with any welfare, safeguarding or EDI concerns that arise during a match.
