Vitor Pereira, Marshall Munetsi and Alfie Pond round up Wolves’ pre-season trip to Portugal on the latest episode of Wolves Express.
The Old Gold spent ten days in the Algarve preparing for the 2025/26 campaign recently, playing two training ground matches against Santa Clara and Burnley, and the head coach assesses the work done over there and the messages he’s been relaying to his players.
Munetsi played 90 minutes of Saturday’s Burnley clash, and he discusses the connections being built within the team, his first pre-season with the club and the work which is being done on the training pitch.
Pond is also interviewed on the episode, having completed his latest pre-season training camp with the senior team. The youngster talks about being a bridge between the first-team and academy players, and how he’ll benefit from a testing pre-season further down the line.
