Wolves reveal new 2025/26 SUDU home kit

Wolves’ highly anticipated 2025/26 SUDU home kit has now been revealed, presenting a design that weaves together the club's proud history with a contemporary aesthetic.

The new kit draws inspiration from iconic Wolves kits of the past, most notably the bold designs of the 1970s, while also paying homage to the historical roots of Molineux itself.

The 2025/26 home kit features a striking V-collar, reminiscent of classic Wolves strips. However, the design goes deeper, acknowledging the fascinating history of the club's home.

Before becoming the stadium known today, Molineux was once the vibrant Molineux Pleasure Grounds – a public park boasting ornamental terraces, balloon ascents, concerts and exhibitions.

The kit retains the iconic old gold base, but with a unique twist. This year's design incorporates a debossed print that subtly highlights the symmetry and meticulous detail of the Molineux Pleasure Grounds, serving as a visual nod to the site's rich and varied past.

“It's a modern day take on a classic Wolves shirt,” club historian Peter Crump said. “It’s traditional from the 1970s era – almost a modern twist on the three wolf head shirt from the 1974 League Cup. I can see Kenny Hibbitt, John Richards, Steve Daley and players like that wearing it.

“The ‘70s is a well revered era at Wolves, so lots of the fans remember it with great fondness. We've got a great history, and we should celebrate it, and there's no reason why the modern day and history can't be combined.

“We've got the painting which depicts when McGregor owned the Molineux Pleasure Grounds in Molineux reception, and it has been used for the inspiration for the shirt. It shows the attention to detail of the people at SUDU and what they're doing.”

The professional version of the kit, as worn by the Wolves first-teams and academy players, boasts strategically placed mesh side panels to enhance breathability and comfort, while the shirt’s lightweight, sweat-wicking fabric is designed to provide optimal performance for the players.

The 2025/26 Wolves home kit is available for purchase starting tomorrow, Friday 27th June, from 9am at shop.wolves.co.uk. Fans can also purchase the kit in-store from Friday 4th July.
