Voting is now open for Wolves’ 2024/25 men’s and women’s Goal of the Season award, exclusively on the Wolves App.
Ten finishes from Vitor Pereira’s side have been picked for voting, while 131 goals scored by Dan McNamara’s team have been whittled down to a top nine, and supporters now have less than a week to decide which two players take home the award for the best strikes.
In the men’s category, top scorer Matheus Cunha is well-represented with six of the top ten coming from the Brazilian. These include his long-range strike against Southampton, both of his finishes away at Fulham in November, his Olimpico on Boxing Day against Manchester United, as well as his neat finish away at Liverpool and the FA Cup bullet at Bournemouth.
While Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s stunner away at Nottingham Forest, Jorgen Strand Larsen’s diving header at home to Bournemouth, Hee Chan Hwang’s well-worked set-piece at Tottenham Hotspur and Pablo Sarabia’s free-kick against Man United at Old Trafford are also in the running for the award.

While Wolves Women’s nine nominated goals have seen three come from striker Amber Hughes, with her goals against Stoke City, Cheltenham Town and Stourbridge all up for consideration, as are two of Beth Merrick’s strikes, including her goals against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns and versus Rugby Borough.
Other nominations have been made for Becky Anderson and Tammi George’s long-range FA Cup efforts against Shrewsbury, Anna Morphet’s 30-yard free-kick and Destiney Toussaint’s final goal of her career on the final day of the season at home to Liverpool Feds.
