Gary O'Neil and Matheus Cunha feature on Friday's episode of Wolves Express as the attention turns to this weekend's Premier League clash with West Ham United.
First up, O'Neil provides an injury update on a few members of the Old Gold, with Cunha expected to feature for longer than he did on Tuesday night at Turf Moor as he made his return after two months out, as well as the latest on Hee Chan Hwang, Craig Dawson and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
The head coach also discusses the impact full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri has made in attack recent weeks while four of his five forward players were on the treatment table, as well as how much credit his players deserve to be in the position they are currently in despite everything they have faced this term.
O'Neil also chats about how big a win would be on Saturday with his side sitting just three points behind seventh placed West Ham ahead of their meeting, with victory putting his side back among the European hopefuls with just seven matches of the season remaining, something Cunha is also looking forward to help Wolves achieve as he pushes to make his first start since February this weekend.
The returning Brazilian tells the latest episode of the club's official bitesize podcast all about the difficulties he has experienced during his comeback from injury, while also shedding light on the special relationship which has formed between himself and his head coach.
Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
