Molineux set for Continental Tyres League Cup final

Chelsea and Arsenal will do battle in the 2023/24 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final, held at Molineux this month, and tickets are available now.

Current Super League leaders Chelsea, who beat Manchester City in the semi-final last week, will take on London rivals Arsenal, who saw off Aston Villa, in the Molineux final, which will take place on Sunday 31st March at 3pm.

Molineux was selected as the venue back in December and now the competing teams have been confirmed, so have the respective ends, with the Blues taking the Stan Cullis Stand and the Gunners being housed in the Jack Hayward Stand.

Tickets are available in all four stands however, with the Steve Bull and Billy Wright Stands providing neutral areas.

It’s the thirteenth final of the competition and Molineux was selected having previously played host to women’s international football, with England lifting the Arnold Clark Trophy against Germany here back in February 2021, and also for a Lionesses friendly fixture against Belgium in June 2022.

Now it’s the turn of the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final, which Chelsea are competing in for the fifth successive year and the two finalists are a repeat of last season, when Arsenal came out on top by three goals to one at Selhurst Park.
