Hugo Bueno is a special guest on the latest episode of Wolves Weekly, as he discusses his journey into the first-team with Mikey Burrows.
One year ago, the Spaniard was enjoying his first months as part of the Old Gold’s first-team, having claimed a fine assist on his full debut against Crystal Palace in the October.
Now, he’s a fully-fledged member of the first-team, playing 36 times, and will be eyeing opportunities to add to that total in the coming weeks, with Rayan Ait-Nouri away on international duty.
In the special episode, he discusses the early days in the UK, following his move to England as a Wolves Academy player, and the relationship he has with his brother, which was tested during those early days following the transfer.
That night at Selhurst Park is delved into in great detail, as is what has followed, with Bueno’s hard work being rewarded with a new contract back in November.
Wolves Weekly is available to listen to on all podcast providers. There is also a host of official and exclusive gold and black content to be found on Wolves Radio, including Matchday Live Extra and Wolves Express.
