Friday's episode of Wolves Express unmasks the mystery man who was hugged by Pedro Neto after his last-minute winner against Chelsea three years ago today.
The winger fired home the winning strike to see Wolves fight from behind to claim victory over the Blues on 15th December 2020, but with no supporters in the ground due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the only person Neto could celebrate with was groundsman Chris Lane.
In his winter coat and woolly hat and scarf, Chris - who was also on ball boy duty in front of the South Bank during the Molineux matches which were played behind closed doors as well as his regular role on the ground staff - gave that Portuguese matchwinner a big embrace and three years on reveals it was one of the best moments of his life.
Neto also features on the podcast as he reveals how his recovery from a hamstring injury which has kept him out since late October is coming along, while Gary O'Neil also provides an injury update ahead of this weekend's visit to West Ham United.
Wolves head to O'Neil's former club on Sunday afternoon, and the head coach has spoken about what it will mean to him to go back to face the club he spent three years at as a player, as well as the impact Hee Chan Hwang has been having in recent weeks.
O'Neil also talks about the improvements in his players' fitness since his arrival at the club, and how Mario Lemina is recovering from the tight hamstring which saw him brought off early against Nottingham Forest last weekend.
Released three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
