Dan McNamara joins Mikey Burrows in the latest Wolves Weekly summer special episode as the manager looks back at another impressive season for Wolves Women.
On this week’s episode, McNamara discusses the 2022/23 season, which saw the women's first-team narrowly miss out on successive league titles on goal difference to eventual champions Nottingham Forest.
The side did claim silverware last season however, as in front of thousands of supporters at Molineux, the players lifted the Birmingham County Cup for a second year on the bounce following a comfortable victory over Stourbridge.
In addition to that, women's full-back Beth Roberts and midfielder Summer Holmes also joined Burrows to talk through a 'gutting' end to the season which saw their team not only miss out on a league title in heart-breaking fashion, but a play-off final opportunity to gain promotion to the Championship.
