Wolves legends to feature in charity match

Tickets are now on sale for a special charity match featuring a host of Wolves legends, organised by former old gold fan favourite Dave Edwards next month.

On Sunday 26th March, a team of Wolves legends will face off with a Shrewsbury Town legends eleven at the Montgomery Waters Meadow, raising money for the Shrewsbury Town Foundation and the Little Rascals Foundation.

The line-up for the fixture will be announced nearer the time, but Wolves supporters can secure their ticket at early bird prices before 9th February, via shrewstickets.com.

Early bird prices are as follows: £10 for adults and £8 for seniors and ages 12-18, while under-12s can enter free of charge.

The game takes places across the next international break, meaning Wolves will be out of Premier League action, offering supporters the opportunity to attend, with kick-off taking place at 1.30pm on the day.

On the event, Edwards said: “Seventeen of my 19-year professional career was spent representing Shrewsbury Town and Wolves.

“I owe both clubs so much for the happiness and memorable experiences they have brought to me and my family and I am delighted to be able to be a part of this special event with some of my old teammates to show my appreciation.

“Every penny raised will help continue the amazing work Little Rascals Foundation and Shrewsbury Town Foundation do helping children with disabilities and their families.”
