Southampton vs Wolves | Supporter guide

Wolves head to the south coast once again this weekend as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side face an in-form Southampton on their return to Premier League action following the midweek FA Cup loss to Manchester United.

Another sold-out away section of 3,337 Wolves supporters will be backing Nuno’s men at St Mary’s Stadium for the 3pm kick-off on Saturday 18th January.

Supporters travelling down to St Mary’s by car should be aware that Highways England are upgrading the M27 between junction 4 (M3 interchange) and junction 11 at Fareham, into a smart motorway, meaning traffic management measures in place throughout the construction period, so fans should plan their journey accordingly.

Matchday information

Wolves supporters will be housed in the Northam Stand and entrance is available via the north car park, adjacent to Ticket Office 3. The away turnstiles are located on the north side of St Mary’s, with Wolves supporters able to enter via turnstiles K, L or M from 1.30pm on Saturday.

Inside the concourses a range of food and drink outlets are available, as well as betting facilities, while TV screens will show the early kick-off and stewards are on hand to answer any questions.

Those travelling by train should aim for Southampton Central Railway Station, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the stadium. Buses run regularly from the south side of Southampton Central Train Station (platform 4), starting from 12.30pm, dropping off and picking up supporters at Chapel Road – a five-minute walk from the stadium.

For drivers, multi-storey car parks nearby the stadium include on Bedford Place, Grosvenor Square and West Park Road. Supporters who have any questions regarding travel and parking at the stadium should call Southampton directly on 02380 711 909.

Supporters planning to make a weekend of their trip to St Mary’s have a number of hotels recommended by Southampton, including the Jury’s Inn, White Star Tavern and Mercure Dolphin Hotel.
