Additions to Communications and Marketing Departments

Wolves have brought in two experienced members of staff to head up the Communications and Marketing departments at Molineux.

Russell Jones, who joined Wolves in December as the Club’s Head of Marketing, arrives with over 15 years of experience in sports marketing.

Jones oversaw the marketing and PR output for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics in 2003 before Heading up the Marketing & Digital Communications department at Aston Villa for over 10 years, with a strong focus on developing fan relationships both locally and overseas.

Max Fitzgerald will arrive at Molineux in early February and take up a position as Wolves’ Head of Media.

After beginning his career with AFC Bournemouth in 2011, Fitzgerald became the Cherries’ Head of Media & Communications just 15 months later. He would go on to spend four more years in Dorset before taking up a role as West Ham United’s Head of Media Relations in 2016.

Wolves’ Managing Director, Laurie Dalrymple, said: “It’s fantastic for the club to be able to bring in two vastly experienced members of staff to a strong team behind the scenes here at Molineux.

“I am looking forward to working with them both during a time in which the Club is looking to progress both on and off the field.”
