Wolves Wishes gave a half time surprise to a young Wolves fan on Saturday – in the shape of a new iPad Air!
Callum Richards, 13, had been nominated by Mom Pippa as part of the Wolves Wishes initiative where the club surprises fans who are in needed of a Wolves treat! (
And so, at half time during the Ipswich game on Saturday, former Wolves defender Jody Craddock ventured into the lower tier of the Billy Wright Stand to hand over the gift.
“Sadly we lost Callum’s Dad Scott to cancer when he was ten,” says Pippa.
“He has been a season ticket holder at Wolves since he was 5 and came up with his dad to every game.
“I am lucky enough to have some very special friends who bring him along to every game so he has been able to carry on coming.
“He loves the Wolves – every time he gets back I hear about every part of the game and all the singing and shouting!
“He has been struggling a bit lately and I would really love for him to have something special to look forward to and give him a well-deserved boost - just to see him happy for a day would be priceless.”
