Wolves and Chelsea go head-to-head in the U17 Premier League Cup final at Molineux on Thursday evening.
Silverware is up for grabs at the golden palace, with both sides securing their spot in the final following impressive runs in the competition.
Richard Walker’s Old Gold safely navigated their way through the group stage, before defeating Leicester City in the quarter-final and Stoke City in the semi-final.
Minkyu Ji’s last-minute winner at Clayton Wood secured a 2-1 victory against the Potters to set up a final clash with Chelsea.
After making their own way out of the group, the Blues beat current holders Tottenham Hotspur and previous winners Manchester City and will now travel to Molineux.
Both teams are flying high in their respective U18 Premier League divisions, with Wolves third in the North and Chelsea leading the way in the South on goal difference.
Wolves come into Thursday’s final on the back of a six-game unbeaten run in the league and Saturday’s 2-1 victory over reigning champions Man City. Meanwhile, Chelsea haven’t lost in the league since October and are on a seven-game winning run.

WHAT THE BOSS SAID
“It will be a tough test, for sure. Chelsea are an outstanding side and it will be a tall order and a big test.
“However, we’ve got quality players who have showcased themselves in this tournament this season and I think all the players will be looking forward to expressing themselves on the Molineux pitch under the lights.”
