Wolves join forces with Arden Forest FC

Wolves have entered a partnership with Arden Forest Football Club, to help unearth more local talent for both the men’s and women’s first-teams in the future.

Arden Forest are located within the East Birmingham area and are currently one of the biggest clubs within the entire Midlands patch, boasting 39 teams in total, starting from the age group under-6.

The partnership will see Wolves Academy staff provide regular CPD opportunities across all departments in collaboration with Arden Forest, to enhance the development of local players within the Birmingham area.

The local area in recent years has been a hotbed of talent for young footballers and the partnership is giving opportunities for players to join the ranks of Wolves Academy and continue the historic pathway the club has in place.

Within recent years, Wolves’ relationship with Arden Forest chairman, Wayne Brownhill, has grown, which has seen many players start their pathway with both Arden Forest and Wolves Academy, to give them the best possible football education.

As well as intake, the partnership also strengthens the exit strategy for those leaving Wolves, meaning opportunities will still remain at Arden Forest for them.

On the partnership, Wayne Brownhill, Arden Forest chairman, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for all our teams players, coaches, managers and the wider community.

"The ongoing support and partnership Wolves will allow Arden Forest to continue to provide the very best facilities, improve our coaching standards and provide so many children with the best possible opportunity to participate and progress within the game. It’s certainly exciting times ahead for Arden Forest.”
