Young Players Code of Conduct
Please discuss our code of conduct with your child – you might need to change some of the language to ensure your child understands.
For any Wolverhampton Wanderers FC Football Development sessions, all participants must adhere to our Code of Conduct.
When taking part in a Wolves Football Development Sessions, I will;
· Always play to the best of my ability
· Play fairly and within the rules of the game that is promoted by coaches and referees
· Display and promote high standards of behaviour
· Respect all participants who are there to enjoy their football journey
· Respect, listen and respond to coaching points my coach tells me
· Never engage in physical or violent behaviour
· Never engage in offensive, insulting or abusive language towards others
· Never engage in bullying, intimidation, or harassment
· Talk to a coach, your parents or one of our Safeguarding Team
I understand, that if I do not follow the code of conduct, I may be subject to the following actions:
· Apologise to the person(s) I have acted against
· Be subject to the following procedure:
o Verbal warning - Time out of session (suitable amount of time at staff discretion). Parent will be notified at the end of the session.
o Yellow card - issued due to failure to adhere this policy. Issue will be discussed with the individual’s Parent/Carer are the end of the session
o Red card - issued for a serious or continued breach of this policy. Player will be removed from the session and parent/carer contacted immediately to be informed of the issue. Suitability for the player’s return to future sessions will be discussed between the Football Development and Safeguarding Team.
· Required to meet with officials from the Club
· Offered to undertake an FA / Club Education Course
· In extreme cases, expulsion from the Programme and unable to attend any future sessions delivered by the Club
